I always love reading your musings, Olga. As a fellow 33 year old, I can relate to much of it. I am starting to get my first streaks of gray hair, and I am bewildered because in so many ways I still feel like a girl, but then again, I think at 33 there is also a lot of wisdom one might have already learned. So maybe it's about finding the balance between letting life turn you into an always a bit wiser woman and at the same time, holding tight to that childlike curiosity and awe? There's this quote by one of my favourite German writers, Erich Kästner: "Only who grows up and remains a child is human." Maybe there's some wisdom in that. Sending you much love from Germany! (Also, I will get back to your voice messages once I have recovered from Covid. But I loved listening to them).
I always feel so excited when receiving your comments. Thank you for all your beautiful words, Anne! First of all, please get well as soon as possible! Hopefully this magical September atmosphere can help giving you new energy! Would never say you're 33, for me you always look like 20 something! :) That's such a great quote you shared! I believe Eckhart Tolle keeps saying something similar. That we all need to look at this world as we used to look when we were little. With curiosity and amazement. Not always easy but, what I feel, when sometimes I do have these moments of "naive childhood delight", it gives ease and a kind of natural understanding of things that does not require any logical analysis. There is something to reflect on! :) Will be very happy to hear your voice and your thoughts. Stay healthy and get a good rest with your favorite books and a cup of coffee!
